A racial justice advocate focused on spotlighting inequality through storytelling.
Advancing racial equity and racial justice goes beyond reparations and access to homeownership. It’s about showing up as a human, first, and recognizing the harm that BIPOC communities have experienced due to the structurally racist systems on which America was built. As a Black woman who has experienced gendered racism, first hand, my goal is to engage in organized and creative environments that are working to redress those systems in any way possible.
I’ve had the privilege of engaging with the nation’s most influential decision makers, prominent academic scholars, C-suite executives, local community advocates, small-business owners, and more through my work. My ability to communicate with folks of differing backgrounds and positions is a gift I treasure. With a bachelor’s degree in communication studies, my focus is to bring the much-needed communication, relationship cultivation, and humanization to every space I encounter.
Please enjoy some of my writing pieces centered around policy solutions for closing the racial wealth gap.
